Handling the Challenges of Logistics for African Coffee
The Red Sea situation has become more complex in recent months. Shipping companies are adjusting their routes to protect their crews, vessels, and cargo by avoiding the Red Sea and opting to sail around the Cape of Good Hope at the southern tip of Africa. Ships have to take longer routes, increasing the time and expenses involved in transporting coffee to Europe.
As a result, the shipping time from Africa was prolonged to twice the normal duration.
After our summer break you will savor new crop lots from Kenya and Ethiopia.
Thank you for being patient!
